Research & Development

One of Copenhagen Fintech’s key objectives is to foster collaboration and co-innovation between academia and industry with the aim of finding the best ideas and solutions relevant to finance and fintech.

We currently work with all Danish universities and several higher knowledge institutions, including RTOs in Denmark and internationally, on various activities including joint R&D projects which we also fund.

If you are a university, RTO, researcher or student please read on to find out how you can work with us and be part of the most ambitious fintech ecosystem in the Nordics.

If you are a researcher

As a researcher at one of our R&D partner institutions you have several opportunities to be part of the CPHFT fintech ecosystem including:

  • Networking opportunities and partner facilitation
  • Access to CPHFT community events on member terms
  • Access to discounted ticket for the Nordic Fintech Week

The Nordic Fintech Research Symposium

Every year Copenhagen Fintech in collaboration with researchers from Danish Universities, organizes a Research Symposium in connection with the Nordic Fintech Week. The Nordic Fintech Symposium is supported by Copenhagen Fintech as part of the “National Position of Strength programme for Finans & Fintech” funded by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science.

The Symposium is intended to bridge gaps between academia and industry, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and insights for the benefit of the Danish fintech community. It joins together both Danish and international researchers plus industry experts and it thus a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and initiating new collaborations.
